Have yarn, will travel....

I'm off to the family baby shower---to shower the parents-to-be with presents, and begin the welcoming party for the new grandbaby! check back next week--after the 18th of July for a post with photos about the baby shower...

And for photos of the knitting I completed while waiting in the airport, and on the train ride....for some odd reason my suitcase seems to be about half full of yarn?

Had a happy find, a yarn shop on 36th St in Hampden (a Baltimore neighborhood). You walk in there and find a friendly group of women and men knitting. Go further in and find a luscious selection of yarn. Got a beautiful skein to make a baby hat and the best little handmade drawstring project bag. It's become my "have yarn, will commute project" Think I can finish the hat before the end of Aug knitting only the Metro, 25 min each way?
