Northwest Spring : Portland Farmer's Market

A sure sign of spring in the Northwest : last weekend the first spring farmer's markets opened in Portland! I found the market to be a feast for the eyes as well as for my tummy ;-) I wandered around the Hollywood area Farmer's Market and snapped these photos.

I am very thankful to live in a community where I have farmer's markets to shop at ---bought the best fresh fish, and local strawberries...and more. If you can't grow your own food, shop at a farmer's market!

Blue and Blue again!

I just can't resist taking photos of friend's lovely house decor when I travel--- so here are a few--some nice China blue and white"eye candy" from my friend Twilo's house in Eugene, Oregon.

She had this lovely basket of Pysanky eggs on the dining room table--she collected them all over Eastern Europe.
And she is the gardener extra-ordinaire--with many prizes for her gardening--so I couldn't resist shooting a few flowers...
