Water Week : Day 12

I am taking a class to learn this knitting technique with the 2 circular needles---the class is three nights, on thursday evenings---at KNIT ONE ONE--- a great place in Oakland that just teaches knitting, crocheting and spinning classes....

I have taken a class on how to do the Magic Loop knitting method for toe up, short row heel socks. Then I found this site on how to do 2 socks at the same time on 2 circ top down with a heel flap.

I love how activities like knitting can become meditations. What you're creating looks amazing!

I hope you do find your hour of quiet stillness.

I knit socks with four needles. I have a book to learn the method you are learning. What do you think of it? Is it better than four needles? I like the idea of doing two socks at a time.

Your wave is terrific. If you go with it you'll enjoy the ride to shore. If you fight it you'll be tumbling to the ocean floor. So you are busy on the day you didn't want to be. I think the key here is to recognize it and do what you need to or you'll worry too much. Postponing your nothing day for just one day should give you breather room without swamping the whole idea you are striving for. Good luck.

I think it's neither a test nor a cruel joke. It's just an illustration of the magical powers of Aurora! :)

I admire anyone who can work well with circular needles. It sounds like a neat technique.

I like how we can, be in the midst of chaos and drama, but always have the power to go within and find stillness, calm and peace. Even shorter moments of stillness can have a beneficial effect on our well-being. Maybe that's what you were meant to do today....practise shorter moments of stillness.

LOVE your wave drawing!

love, light and peace,
