Painting With Threads

I have always loved this Mary Cassatt painting of "Lydia" embroidering---this is me lately--since I seem to be doing more embroidery than any other type of needlework or beadwork. There is so much satisfaction in seeing an embroidered design grow and bloom--I think of it as painting with threads. Check back in a few weeks to see my finished "thread painting."
